Leaving my corporate job in television to be an artist!

And just like that!! Almost 3 years working in the whirlwind of television, producing, editing and shooting television commercials for Channel Nine. Although I always thought this was my ‘big break’, especially when I first landed the job, over the last six months I have slowly gravitated more towards my art. Drawing excites me and it something that I feel is unique to me, so it only makes sense that I should make that a priority.

With everything going on in the world today I think it’s now or never! In 2020 so far we’ve had some of the worst bushfires, floods and now the Corona Virus… The future is uncertain however I am happy to not be sitting in the office under those white fluorescent lights and air conditioning.

Here is me after my last day at work celebrating the last few years with an amazing company.

For now, I have some wild plans for the future which is also dependant on the Corona Virus outbreak settling down. Let’s just hope and pray that everything falls together for the better and my plans can go ahead.

In the meantime here is one of my favourite verses about fear and the future:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Love always,
