Bella

Bella is a portrait of presence. Painted during an in-person sitting at my Byron Bay studio as a gift from husband to wife, the work honours the quiet strength and openness in simply being seen. The brushwork holds both transparency and depth, evoking a sense of lived experience without narrative imposition. Bella invites the viewer into an unspoken exchange, where vulnerability and devotion coexist in stillness.
